34 days. 17 inspirational women.
5 female filmmakers. 1 dream.

The Empowerment Project is a feature-length documentary about five female filmmakers traveling across the US to inspire the next generation of strong women to go after their career ambitions. Driving from Los Angeles to New York over the course of a month, the filmmakers interview several women in a variety of career fields to encourage the next generation of strong women to thrive and be leaders. From flying above San Francisco with a female pilot, and sitting down with the creator of "The Oprah Show," to working in a lab with a cancer biologist, and dancing alongside a professional ballerina, the empowerment gals get the chance to spend a day in each woman's shoes and are impacted as women, as filmmakers, and as friends. The team challenges the audience to asks themselves, "What would you do if you weren't afraid to fail?"

This film comes from Emmy® Award winning producers Sarah Moshman and Dana Michelle Cook who started Heartfelt Productions in 2009 as a way to focus on positive content for women.
